My philosophy:
The greatest of all things one can teach are Love and Faith.
Like anything, they cannot be taught by fear, coercion, proof, or demonstration.
They are simply taught by walking beside you, and holding your hand.
About Me
By mainstream world standards, I am a freelance Non-Denominational Minister with a Master of Divinity in Metaphysics. But that's just my 3-D credentials, not at all a complete picture of who I am or what I bring to my work. I would not label myself a Metaphysician, or anything else for that matter, but rather a blend of everything I've picked up along the way that resonates with me. I do not subscribe to one specific theory but am rather a little bit of all that I have experienced and decided to carry with me on my journey.
I only list my 'credentials' to give you a small and digestible picture of my background. Just like everyone else, I'm a work in progress....
In reality, I grew up "in the world but not of it." I did the same things most people do and fit in ok enough, but there was always something 'different' about me. Throughout adulthood, I began to find that I wasn't like a lot of other people and there was a driving force calling me 'home.' That drive has fueled my quest for truth, and in it a hunger to live my own inner truth even more authentically than I ever had before.
To me, life has always been about living, loving, learning, and growing. Always asking questions, always seeking new experiences. To me, to resist change and settle for just fitting in would liken itself to a spiritual death.
Now, more than ever, it is time for me to add my bright light to the world, and share with others the journey that has brought me even closer to myself.
We are all born children of God, with our unique talents and gifts to give and express. The more people there are on earth living their inner truth, the more we have a world where everyone is expressing the gifts that are uniquely theirs, and therefore allowing and inspiring others to do the same. If we remember that we are not separate, and we all choose to live our authentic selves out loud, the world will sing in beautiful harmony of co-creation.
Regarding my brand of spirituality, I would best describe myself as 'spiritual, but not religious.' I have experienced many different modalities of holistic healing as well as many different cultures and beliefs. I find balance to be of the utmost importance to life. Western life has a plethora wonderful benefits, but is sorely incomplete without a connection to the earth and one's higher power. I find that native cultures such as the Native Americans and Native Hawaiians have much to teach us in the ways in which we are spiritually starved. But we cannot go back, we must move forward with the knowing that we are all powerful creators, each with our own piece to give to the Whole.
The time is NOW.
